Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will miss Sunday’s showdown with the Baltimore Ravens with an ankle injury, ESPN reported Thursday.

He sustained the injury during Miami’s Christmas Eve victory against the Dallas Cowboys and did not participate in practice on Wednesday.

Waddle, who also got poked in the eye in that contest, played only 28 snaps and caught just one pass — a 50-yard reception on Miami’s opening drive.

Waddle, 25, has 72 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns in 14 starts this season.

The 2021 first-round pick is the first player in Dolphins history with 1,000 receiving yards in three straight seasons.

The host Ravens (12-3) can clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a victory Sunday afternoon against the Dolphins (11-4).
