The Los Angeles Rams cut running back Darrell Henderson from the practice squad on Tuesday.

The Rams (8-7) filled the roster spot by signing former XFL long snapper Alex Matheson.

Henderson, 26, started four games and rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns this season. He has not played since Week 11, getting waived two days later then added to the practice squad.

The 2019 third-round pick had 2,431 yards from scrimmage and 19 TDs in 54 games (32 starts) with the Rams.

Second-year back Kyren Williams leads Los Angeles with 1,057 rushing yards and nine TDs in 11 games. The Rams returned running back Ronnie Rivers from injured reserve last week.

Matheson played for the XFL’s St. Louis BattleHawks in 2023.
