Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is inactive for Sunday’s game against the visiting New York Jets.

Hill, who leads the NFL with 1,542 receiving yards and 12 touchdown catches, sustained a left ankle injury in Monday night’s loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Hill was listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro was seen running routes while catching balls from backup Skylar Thompson on Sunday morning.

While Hill is inactive, the Dolphins will have rookie running back De’Von Achane in the lineup. He was not included on the team’s inactives list on Sunday despite being listed as questionable due to an ankle and toe injury.

Achane, 22, has rushed 63 times for 581 yards (9.2 average) and seven touchdowns in seven games this season. He also has 18 catches for 125 yards and two scores.

In addition to Hill, the Dolphins (9-4) ruled out cornerback Xavien Howard, safeties Jevon Holland and Deshon Elliott, offensive lineman Robert Hunt and edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul. Thompson will be the emergency quarterback.

As for the Jets (5-8), they ruled out the following players: wide receiver Jason Brownlee, tackle Carter Warren, offensive lineman Max Mitchell, linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball, defensive lineman Carl Lawson, cornerback Bryce Hall and quarterback Brett Rypien (emergency quarterback).
