NFL owners are voting to award Super Bowl LXI to Los Angeles, ESPN reported.

The vote is expected to take place on Wednesday at the league meetings in Dallas.

The 2027 game will be televised by ESPN and ABC. It will be ESPN’s first Super Bowl telecast and the first for ABC since Super Bowl XL in February 2006.

SoFi Stadium was the site of Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022 as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20.

Super Bowls I and VII were played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Five Super Bowls were held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., most recently Super Bowl XXVII on Jan. 31, 1993.

The current NFL season will conclude with Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Super Bowl LIX will be at the Superdome in New Orleans and Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
