Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving has been ruled out and star Luka Doncic is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers have their own injury concerns, notably LeBron James (left calf) and Anthony Davis (left adductor/hip) being listed as questionable for the game.

Irving sustained a heel contusion during Dallas’ 125-112 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. He promptly sat out the Mavericks’ 120-113 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

Doncic, who is nursing a low back contusion, erupted for 35 points in the game versus the Grizzlies. He sports team-best averages in points (32.0), assists (8.5) and rebounds (8.3).

Tim Hardaway Jr. (back) and Derrick Jones Jr. (left quad) also are listed as questionable for the Mavericks.

Irving is averaging 23.0 points and 5.2 assists per game this season. Hardaway is contributing 16.9 points and Jones is adding 9.9 per contest.

James is averaging a team-best 25.0 points and 6.6 assists per game, while Davis is chipping in 22.7 points and a club-high 12.7 rebounds.
