Travis Konecny scored two goals, including one short-handed, and Carter Hart made 25 saves as the Philadelphia Flyers snapped Arizona’s five-game winning streak with a 4-1 victory on Thursday night in Tempe, Ariz.

Cam York had a goal and an assist and Joel Farabee also scored for Philadelphia, which extended its point streak to four games (3-0-1). It also was the third straight road win for the Flyers, who have won six of their last seven road contests.

Hart has won two straight starts, stopping 56 of 58 shots in the process.

Lawson Crouse scored for Arizona. Connor Ingram, the NHL’s First Star of the Week, finished with 22 saves. His personal five-game winning streak came to an end.

Philadelphia’s win began a three-game road trip against Central Division teams after sweeping a Keystone State home-and-home series with Pittsburgh.

The Flyers took a 1-0 lead at the 10:11 mark. Sean Couturier pulled a faceoff back to Konecny on the edge of the right circle, where he fired a wrist shot that hit Ingram in the left shoulder, popped up in the air and then landed in the net.

The Flyers made it 2-0 a little over three minutes later. Farabee, alone by the left far post, tapped in a cross-crease pass from Cam Atkinson for his ninth goal of the season.

Arizona cut it to 2-1 at the 17:33 mark when Matias Maccelli, below the left goal line, found Crouse alone in the slot, where he one-timed a shot under Hart’s pads for his 11th goal.

Konecny extended Philadelphia’s lead to 3-1 early in the second period with a short-handed goal. He picked up the puck along the left boards in the neutral zone and then curled in and beat Ingram with a wrist shot into the top right corner. It was his 14th goal of the season.

It also was an NHL-best seventh short-handed goal of the season for the Flyers and the third for Konecny, moving him into a tie for first place in the league.

York made it 4-1 at the 1:47 mark of the third period, with a wrist shot from the middle of the left circle past Ingram’s glove side.
