The Buffalo Bills opened the practice window for tight end Dawson Knox and cornerback Kaiir Elam on Wednesday, with both logging a full practice.

Meanwhile, quarterback Josh Allen remained on the injury report even coming out of the team’s bye week. He, too, was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Knox has been on injured reserve since Oct. 26 with a wrist injury that required surgery. Elam has been on IR with an ankle injury. He also missed two games before being placed on IR.

Bills coach Sean McDermott also announced that safety Taylor Rapp (neck) was back practicing after missing the Week 12 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Cornerback Dane Jackson cleared the concussion protocol.

Knox initially injured the wrist in a Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 26-year-old has 15 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown this season. Knox has 164 receptions for 1,882 yards and 21 touchdowns in 64 career games (54 starts) over five seasons.

Elam, 22, was inactive for the first four games and then missed the Week 8 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the injury. He has 14 tackles in three games (two starts) this season.

A first-round pick (23rd overall) in 2022, Elam played in 13 games (six starts) during his rookie season and notched two interceptions and 41 tackles.

Allen has appeared on the injury report since Week 7.

Von Miller got a veteran rest day Wednesday, something McDermott said was pre-planned and unrelated to the ongoing investigation into his alleged domestic violence incident from Nov. 29. Bills general manager Brandon Beane said earlier Wednesday that Miller is available to practice and play this week.

The 6-6 Bills have a crucial game at Kansas City (8-4) on Sunday. The Bills enter the game as the 10th seed in the AFC with work to do to get back into the playoff picture.
