OVERWATCH: Dynasty sweep Poker Face in OWL East Summer qualifiers

The Seoul Dynasty continued their strong run through the East Region Overwatch League Summer Stage qualifiers with a sweep of Poker Face on Sunday.

The Shanghai Dragons and PANTHERA also took 3-1 wins in their respective matches.

The fourth-place Dynasty moved to 4-2 in the stage by winning 2-0 on Oasis, 2-1 on Numbani and 3-2 on Watchpoint: Gibraltar.

O2 Blast, seeking their second win, jumped out to a quick lead with a 2-0 victory on Lijiang Tower, but PANTHERA responded with three triumphs in a row — 4-3 on Eichenwalde, 3-2 on Circuit Royal and 1-0 on Esperanca.

The Dragons evened their record at 3-3 with their victory over the Ghangzhou Charge, who lost for the second day in a row to fall to eighth place.

Shanghai took two wins — 2-0 on Busan and 3-2 on Midtown — before the Charge registered a 2-1 victory on Dorado. The Dragons closed the match by taking Colosseo 1-0.

East Region qualifying runs through Aug. 6. All matches are best-of-five in a single round-robin format, with all 10 teams moving on to the Summer Stage Knockouts. Matches between the three teams based in South Korea (Fuel, Dynasty, Infernal) will all be offline.

Summer Stage qualifying action in the East continues Friday with two matches:

–Seoul Infernal vs. Shanghai Dragons
