Former West Virginia forward Jimmy Bell Jr. announced Wednesday that he is transferring to Mississippi State.

“If U ain’t a DAWG… U DAWG FOOD #LastDance,” Bell posted on Twitter while showing himself in a Bulldogs’ uniform.

The 6-foot-10, 285-pound Bell started all 34 games for the Mountaineers last season and averaged 4.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He shot 54.9 percent from the field.

It was Bell’s lone season at West Virginia. He began his college career by playing two seasons for Saint Louis and then played one season at Moberly Area Community College in Missouri before joining the Mountaineers.

Mississippi State’s roster remains in flux as it waits to see if star forward Tolu Smith remains in the NBA draft or returns to school.
