Seoul Internal breezed to a 3-0 sweep of the Shanghai Dragons on Friday as part of Week 2 action in East Region qualifying for the Overwatch League’s Spring Stage Knockouts.

Seoul Internal posted a 2-0 win on Nepal, a 3-1 victory on Hollywood and 3-0 in Junkertown.

Also on Friday, Hangzhou Spark won their last two maps to notch a 3-1 win over Dallas Fuel.

Hangzhou Spark recorded a 2-1 victory on Antarctic Peninsula before Dallas Fuel responded with a triumph by the same score on King’s Row. Hangzhou Spark rebounded by posting a 2-1 win on Realto and 1-0 victory on Colosseo.

The OWL format is different this year, with lower-level teams getting the chance to compete with the top-level squads.

The season format will now see teams amass points based on their results in regional qualifiers rather than the standard league standings that were in place in previous years.

Overwatch League Spring Stage Knockouts, East Region qualifying with match record, map differential:
1. Hangzhou Spark, 2-0, plus-5
2. Guangzhou Charge, 1-0, plus-3
3. Seoul Dynasty, 1-0, plus-1
4. Seoul Infernal, 1-1, plus-2
5. Dallas Fuel, 0-2, minus-5
6. Shanghai Dragons, 0-2, minus-6
