The Dallas Cowboys picked up wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s fifth-year option for the 2024 season on Thursday.

Lamb, the team’s first-round pick in 2020, earned his second Pro Bowl selection in 2022 after catching 107 passes for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. The 107 receptions were the third most in team history during a single season.

His 260 career receptions are the most in the first three seasons for any player in Cowboys history.

Lamb’s fifth-year option is worth $17.99 million. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones has said the team wants to extend the receiver, who also was a second-team All-Pro in 2022.

Barring an extension, Lamb is scheduled to play the 2023 season at a salary of $2.52 million.
