The Edmonton Oilers signed defenseman Cam Dineen to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 on Sunday.

Dineen, 24, was acquired in a March 2 trade with the Arizona Coyotes and assigned to Edmonton’s AHL affiliate in Bakersfield.

He registered two goals and 10 assists in 19 games with the Condors.

A third-round pick by Arizona in 2016, Dineen has appeared in 34 NHL games, all with the Coyotes during the 2021-22 season, when he recorded seven assists.

The Oilers traded a 2023 third-round pick and defenseman Michael Kesselring to the Coyotes for Dineen and forward Nick Bjugstad.
