Former Pro Bowl running back Phillip Lindsay is joining the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL, NFL Network reported Saturday.

Lindsay, 28, had consecutive back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in his first two seasons in the NFL in 2018 and 2019, scoring a combined 16 rushing touchdowns for the Denver Broncos.

Injuries limited him to 11 games in 2020, and the Broncos let him walk away as a free agent following the season. In 2021 and 2022, he spent time with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts.

In five seasons, Lindsay has 2,848 rushing yards — 2,550 of them with Denver — and 18 touchdowns. He added 529 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air.
