Two-year MLS veteran Patryk Klimala has been transferred from the Red Bulls to the Israel Premier League, the team announced on Sunday.

Klimala, the Red Bulls’ leading scorer with eight goals in his rookie season of 2021, is going to Hapoel Be’er Sheva F.C., according to the statement from the Red Bulls. They keep a sell-on percentage of the transfer fee if another club purchases the forward.

The 24-year-old Klimala played in 57 games (46 starts) in his two years in New York. He added seven assists in 2021, and recorded five goals and three assists in 2022.

Klimala previously played with Celtic F.C. in the Scottish Premiership, appearing in 28 games posting three goals in 681 minutes played across all competitions in 2020. His professional career began with Jagiellonia Bialystok in his native Poland, where he made 47 appearances and scored 11 goals.
