Minnesota Vikings cornerback Cam Dantzler was designated for return from injured reserve on Wednesday.

Dantzler started the team’s first eight games of the season before sustaining a high-ankle sprain in Minnesota’s 20-17 victory over the Washington Commanders on Nov. 6.

Dantzler, 24, recorded 45 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in eight games this season. He has 144 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries since being selected by Minnesota in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Also on Wednesday, the Vikings opened the 21-day return window for running back Ty Chandler.

Chandler, 24, is working his way back from a broken thumb sustained in Minnesota’s 29-22 win over the Chicago Bears on Oct. 9.

He has one tackle while playing 28 snaps on special teams in two games this season.
