The Cincinnati Bengals added linebacker Joe Bachie to the active roster on Saturday from the reserve/physically unable to perform list.

Bachie went on the list on Aug. 30 with a knee injury and was cleared to resume practicing on Wednesday.

The Bengals (3-3) also elevated defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s Week 7 game against the visiting Atlanta Falcons (3-3).

Bachie, 24, registered 30 tackles and one pass defensed in nine games (two starts) with Cincinnati last season.

Shelvin, 24, has four tackles in four career games since the Bengals drafted him in the fourth round in 2021.
