NCAAF: Clemson LB Barrett Carter (concussion) out vs. Syracuse

Clemson star linebacker Barrett Carter is expected to miss Saturday’s game between the No. 5 Tigers and No. 14 Syracuse.

Multiple outlets reported that Carter, who ranks third on the team with 33 tackles, is dealing with a concussion.

The host Tigers (7-0, 5-0) and the Orange (6-0, 3-0) are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

A 6-foot-1, 225-pound sophomore from Suwanee, Ga., Carter was a five-star recruit in the Class of 2021 by 247 Sports. He also has four tackles for loss and two sacks in seven starts.
